Privacy Policy

We take your privacy very seriously. This privacy policy outlines how CrewBloom collects, processes and stores your personal information. You accept this Privacy Policy when you sign up for or use the CrewBloom website (“the Site”) or CrewBloom services.

By registering with or using CrewBloom either as a contractor or corporate client you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Site or services following the posting of changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes. We may update this Privacy Policy at any time by simply posting such addition or modification on the Site.

Collection of personal information

Upon signing up with CrewBloom as either an applicant or client, we collect basic information such as name, company information, and email address to ensure we can communicate with you. Any sensitive information such as insurance details, financial information, etc. (if any) is saved in such a way that it is not accessible to anyone other than your CrewBloom recruitment specialist.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe it is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety. Non-personal identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses. When you use the Site or our services, our servers automatically record standard information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. These server logs may include information such as the page you visited, your Internet Protocol address, CrewBloom cookie information, browser type, browser language, and the date and time of your request. CrewBloom uses this traffic data to help diagnose problems with its server, analyze trends and administer the Site.

Disclosure of personal information

Any personal information that you voluntarily disclose on public areas of the Site (reviews, message boards, profile descriptions, support forums, blog feedback, etc.) becomes publicly available and could be collected and use by other people, including bad people. We strongly discourage you from providing any sensitive or personally identifiable information (say, an email address or phone number) when submitting or contributing to such public content. Spam stinks. So we do not use your email address or other personally identifiable information to send commercial or marketing messages without your consent. We may, however, use your email address without further consent for infrequent critical non-marketing or administrative purposes.

We may employ other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and sometimes need to share your information with them to provide products or services to you. Examples include analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, and providing integrated communications systems for all of our contractors.

Financial Information

When a company subscribes to the service, secure servers handle all of the payment functionality. We will never ask for this information in the process of completing a task for you. CrewBloom contractors never see client’s payment information. Before, during, and after a transaction, your private information was not, nor ever, stored on our servers or in our database.

Cookies

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and tell us how and when pages in our site are visited and by how many people. CrewBloom cookies do not collect personal information, and we do not combine information collected through cookies with other personal information to log who you are or what your email address is.

The “help” portion of the toolbar on the majority of browsers will direct you on how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to command the browser to tell you when you receive a new cookie, or how to fully disable cookies. You can set your browser to refuse all cookies, but some CrewBloom features and services may not function properly if your cookies are disabled.

Recordings

CrewBloom reserves the right to record any and all video chats, phone calls, Skype voice or video chats, Google hangout sessions over voice or video, chat sessions, or other interactions for the purpose of 1) improving the quality of the service/platform, 2) ensuring high quality contractors are made, 3) preventing collusion, 4) prevent system manipulation, 5) ensuring the accuracy and legitimacy of contractor requirements, 6) ensuring team dynamic is fair, upright, and in good faith, or 7) any other reason that promotes the wellbeing of clients and their contractors. CrewBloom may, from time to time, use a collection of recordings to compile a highlight reel, video synopsis, video promotion, or other type of distributable media that may be sent out or displayed on a sales/promotional page on its website. These recordings would be created and collected with the greatest of care not to expose any personal or proprietary information, protecting the client and contractors at all costs.

Recordings created on the CrewBloom platform are stored and owned by CrewBloom, Inc, and may be used in ways that they deem appropriate for running the business, soliciting engagements from customers, and proving the validity of various aspects of the business and contractors experience.

Confidentiality and security

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties or screened, qualified, and approved virtual workers who assist us in operating our service, website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect others or ours rights, property, or safety. However, non personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
