Client FAQs

What is CrewBloom?
CrewBloom is a remote staffing company connecting the top 2% of global sales and support professionals with growing companies.
How long does it take to hire someone?
It can be as quick as two days or as long as two weeks. It depends on how responsive your team is and how specific the role requirements are.
What’s an Independent Contractor?
An independent contractor is a self-employed professional. Unlike employees where taxes and benefits are taken care of by their employer, independent contractors take care of that by themselves. In exchange, they have the flexibility and ability to take on multiple projects so long as this does not impact their productivity, and doesn’t have a conflict of interest with their active projects.
Are CrewBloomers Independent Contractors?
Yes, their specific classification is FW8-BEN. CrewBloom takes ownership of all documentation, classification, and filing with the US Department of Labor as well as the Internal Revenue Service. These documents are available to our clients upon request.
What benefits do you provide?
CrewBloom and our clients are not responsible for providing benefits to our independent contractors. We do, however, encourage performance incentives depending on the independent contractor’s performance.
How long does it take to apply?
The application process takes between two to three business days.
How long does it take for me to get a project?
It can take a week or up to four weeks. Our clients are empowered to handpick whom they want to join their teams which makes standardizing this timeframe challenging. Hence, our contractors are given tips for creating an engaging candidate profile that will catch our client’s eyes.
When will we receive invoices?
Invoices are sent biweekly on Mondays.
What is the deadline for each invoice sent?
We require payment within four business days.
What happens if we don’t pay the invoice on time?
  1. RevOps will send a friendly reminder out on Friday before the invoices become overdue.
  2. On the following Monday, the invoice becomes ‘overdue’ and we’ll begin sending email reminders and your Client Success Manager will begin to follow up on payment.
  3. If payment is not received by the end of that week, your team will not log in the following Monday and your project will be ‘paused’ until you submit payment. We will also start matching your team with other projects which puts you at risk of not being able to re-engage them on your project.
What Holidays do the independent contractors follow? And can we dictate which holidays they will be working and which they will be off?

We follow the standard US Federal holidays listed below. If there are additional holidays your company recognizes, we’re happy to observe those as well. If you require your team to log in during the holidays below, your Client Success Manager will navigate this request.

List of CrewBloom holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Juneteenth
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas
Are we able to implement performance-based incentives?

Yes, we encourage you to set forth performance-based incentives in addition to hourly rates. There are no deductions taken from rate increases, performance-based bonus’ or end of year bonus’, 100% of this investment goes directly to your team. This can be discussed in more detail on the kick-off call with your Client Success Manager.

Is my team able to work flexible hours?
Yes, our contractors are able to work whatever hours are best for your business. We will take this into consideration before sharing candidate profiles. Keep in mind that our Client Success Team works 9 am – 6 pm EST, Mon-Fri.
